I’m selling my wife’s bicycles… this is her Dahon Curve (2012). She is 5’7″ tall and weighs (ahem) somewhere in the middle of an NHS definition of healthy. She bought this for the 1 mile each-way trip to school when she was a Chaplain’s Assistant and enjoyed the simplicity and especially the lightweight feel to the bike when folded – for carrying. However, due to illness has been unable to ride for almost 5 years and is unlikely to ride again. I’m 6’0″ and 100kg – I used this Dahon Curve recently when I took her car for a service in Hull, I found it brilliant fun, but I had the bars up full and the saddle up to the limit. I found it to be springy for my weight but the handling was excellent. The gears all work fine, the folding mechanism is a doddle when you know what you’re doing with pedals. There is a magnetic clasp to hold the bike shut when folded.
If you are interested – comment below and I’ll follow up via email. This post will be deleted once the bike is sold, so if you can read this it is still for sale.
